As a result of funding secured from Perth & Kinross Council and The Gannochy Trust, we were able to recruit a new member to our team as our first Community Relationships and Impact Lead. Bronwyn (Bronnie) joined us in January 2024 and has been instrumental in helping spread the news about The Squeeze and build relationships within the communities of Perth & Kinross.
She has become quite the “Community Connector”!
A word from Bronnie below –
“Hello everyone,
As I reach the 8-month mark in my role as Community Relationships and Impact Lead for The Squeeze, I want to share a quick update on the incredible journey so far.
During these past months, I’ve worked closely with several amazing charities that have signed up with The Squeeze.
Together, we’ve been able to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Our partnerships have strengthened, and the positive outcomes are already evident from the feedback we have received so early on in our journey.
As a new charity, this is just fantastic.
Whether it’s providing emergency support to individuals and families when there is nowhere else to turn, new cash-first partnerships with Perth Citizens Advice Bureau, or signposting amongst our network or charity partners and community resources, our collective efforts are making a tangible impact.
I’m deeply grateful for the collaboration and commitment of everyone involved, and I’m excited about the future as we continue to grow and evolve as a charity.
And an especially important thank you to those who have donated – any amount makes a real difference with us and doesn’t go unnoticed – your generosity has made a direct and tangible difference to the lives of real people and real families.
Your contributions are truly making a difference through us.
A round of applause to you!!
Thank you on behalf of the community you have supported.
Together, we’re making a true difference, donation by donation!”
